9 year old Dilly was finding it very stressful in the cattery so she has gone to stay with foster carers until she can find her forever home. Any potential new owners for Dilly will need to be very patient as it will take her 3-4 months to settle in enough to want to hang out with you. She is no trouble during this time but prefers to keep herself to herself until she is sure about you. All you need to do is provide her with food and let her go about her day as she wishes! Once she has had time to settle, she will start to spend time with you and enjoys watching TV and sleeping on the bed with you (if she is allowed). She does like small amounts of fuss but she is not a very tactile cat, preferring to just be in your company. She is a very sweet, characterful girl once you get to know her and is no trouble at all to care for. She would prefer not to live with any children or other pets and would like a nice garden to explore as she loves to go outdoors. If you think you have the patience to bear with this lovely little girl for the time she needs to settle in, then please contact the Shelter about arranging a visit with her foster carers.
