We have a number of shops in the area that raise funds for the Shelter – and we are always looking to open more. We also have an ebay shop where we sell more unusual items which can be found HERE »
We are pleased to receive donated items to sell in our shops such as:
- good quality clothing
- household items
- working electricals (these are tested before we re-sell them).
We also take in clothes, shoes, handbags, linen, towels etc which are not in a good enough condition to re-sell in our shops. These are sorted and sent off to the Third World via a third party. We get money for these items too – and they don’t end up in landfill!
Towels and blankets are sometimes needed in the Shelter to be used for the animals – please call first to make sure if they are needed.
Sorry, but we cannot accept duvets or pillows.
Any items can be dropped into the shops or Shelter during opening times. Please do not leave items outside when we are closed.
We would also welcome any offers of help from anyone who has a morning or afternoon to spare and could volunteer in our shops. You could be working on the tills, helping to price items, just tidying up the shop or helping in the stockroom.
