Community Fundraiser

This brand new full or part time (0.6-1.0 FTE) Community Fundraiser post is being created to raise awareness and promote the work of Little Valley Animal Shelter and equally importantly to help raise funds for the Shelter from our local community.

The Community Fundraiser’s core remit is to work proactively with our teams and take responsibility to increase our existing fundraising income streams and equally importantly to develop new opportunities for income generation in the future. Increasing the number of volunteer supporters and helping raise our profile through improved communication are intrinsically linked to your role. Tenacity, resilience, enthusiasm, creativity are some of the key personal attributes, as is a good working knowledge of the wide range of social media platforms as these will need to be fully utilised. You will have an interesting and varied role and will be a pivotal member of the Shelter team, building relationships internally and externally to highlight our work and better embrace innovative ways to encourage supporters to engage with our Charity. As this is a brand new role, you will have a wonderful opportunity to make it your own and create something really special.

This is an office based, permanent full or part time role working 22.5-37.5 hours a week, ideally on a full day basis, but we would consider other more flexible weekly working arrangements to accommodate lifestyles for outstanding candidates.
